Puppy Training

All puppy training is handled by the company owner, Elizabeth Dunkle.  Please note she does not accept any dog over the age of 16 weeks.  Her training is meant to provide the beginning basics of obedience using a positive reinforcement method.  “Homework” by family members is required.   The puppy is taught to:

˜ Walk on a leash without pulling
˜ Commands: sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, kennel up, paws down
˜ Develop a “soft mouth” to take treats, etc.
˜Respect humans

 Training includes consultation on all phases of puppy development.  In addition, there is free access to The Pet Lady’s extensive library of training books. 

FEES: 30 MINUTE TRAINING SESSION: $20. 

TRAINING SESSION + MID-DAY WALK (limited availability): $25.00
